KATAHDIN LAMBS

Our Katahdin rams are raised with their mothers on pasture until 3 months of age. They are creep fed high-quality feed and minerals. Once weaned, they will begin pasture rotation with supplemental feed .

 

We keep our top ram lambs to be sold as herd rams and they can be purchased at anytime. Most of our ram lambs are sold to restaurants and butcher shops around Augusta, GA. It typically takes 8-10 months for rams to reach my ideal slaughter weight of 120-140 pounds.

 

Katahdin ram lambs can also be sold live and direct to customers for slaughter. All rams are intact and unblemished, and ready to be sold for religious holidays.
