KATAHDIN SHEEP

Located in East Central Georgia

Katahdin sheep are adaptable, hardy and low maintenance. They produce a lean, meaty carcass with a sweet flavor. A variety of management systems can be successful. The ewes can lamb easily, and they have exceptional mothering ability. Lambs are born vigorous and alert.

OUR GOAL IS TO PRODUCE HARDY, HEALTHY, PRODUCTIVE AND PARASITE RESISTANT KATAHDIN HAIR SHEEP THAT THRIVE IN AN EASY-CARE, FORAGE-BASED SYSTEM USING A CLOSED FLOCK.

RAM LAMBS

We have around 100 ram lambs to choose from. All ram lambs were born and raised on our pastures with supplemental feed. We have rams that weigh from 70-200 pounds right now and are aged 5-14 months.

We also offer individually wrapped cuts of lamb fresh from our farm and processed at an USDA inspected site.

EWES & EWE LAMBS

We have 400 ewes to choose from that were sired by VA Tech Ram Test Rams that are registered. They have also been exposed to other VA Tech Ram Rams for parasite resistance. We are trying our best to bred for parasites resistance and growth.

We will also have around 100 ewes available that from our Winter and Spring lambing season that are being bred now.

Lambs were born from December- April.
